What salmon do you use?
We use sushi-grade farmed Atlantic salmon sustainably sourced from BC.

What does Zaidies stand for?
Zaidies means grandfathers in Yiddish.
Are your products Kosher?
Our products are not certified kosher, nor are they prepared in a Kosher kitchen.
Are your ingredients kosher?
All our ingredients are Kosher.
Is the cold smoked salmon sliced?
Yes. We slice and package by hand with love.
Is your hot smoked salmon spicy?
No. They are cooked in the smoker at 220°F. Hot is referring to the type of cooking method used.

Delivery Questions
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. We offer local delivery in Montreal and surrounding areas for a fee of $5. If you spend $90 or more, the delivery fee is free.
Is there a minimum order value for delivery?
Yes. We have a minimum order value of $30 in order to be eligable for local delivery.
How does the pre-order work?
We are now offering monthly pre-orders in limited quantities.
Customers will have by a certain date to get their orders in. It is possible that we sell out before the order deadline.
To avoid that, get your orders in early.
We will clearly inform you of the order deadline and the delivery date range.

How do I know if I qualify for local delivery? Can I receive a delivery if my postal code is not in your zone?
Please use our postal code checker to see if you are eligible for local delivery when adding local products to your cart. If you are out of our delivery zone, you are free to pass by our store to pick up your order.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Orders for local delivery close on Wednesdays at 10am.
The only day we offer same-day delivery is on Wednesdays if ordered before 10am.
Orders placed after 10am on Wednesday will be delivered the following week.
Do you offer pick up?
Although we do not have any official pick up locations, we can always arrange something.
